All of our heating, ventilation & air conditioning engineers are City and Guilds qualified to the necessary industry standards; offering you peace of mind. Wayne is founder of Air Options and our managing director. He has been in the HVAC industry since 1986 and a respected authority in delivering commercial Ventilation and Air Conditioning solutions. Wayne often takes a personal interest in more complex installation projects and is dedicated to building a reputable company.
Matt has worked for Air Options since 1996 and started off as a field based engineer, working himself into the position of Director over time. Matt has an extensive career history in a range of mechanical engineering roles with an emphasis on building HVAC services. Although a director, Matt still often visits site to resolve the most difficult system issues or to personally meet the clients in attending to their specific needs.
Justin has been in the industry for over thirty years and worked for Air options since 2004. Justin has the benefit of hands on experience, in the position of engineer before moving into technical sales giving him a very rounded approach to design and problem solving. Justins design skills and common sense approach to engineering solutions are second to none, and a highly respected member of our team.
With industry experience prior to starting work for Air Options in 2008, our engineer now focuses his attentions in supporting our engineers and customers in the field. Our engineer has huge experience and seen air conditioning technology and heat pump efficiency evolve to new levels for well over two decades now.
Having worked for Air options since 1997 in the specialist area of installation, our engineer has been on a journey from trainee to senior engineer. He has experience in all areas of the company and seen many advances in air conditioning and heat pump technology over two decades.
Having worked started for Air options in 2007 as trainee engineer focusing on system installation, our engineer has a wealth of experience in all areas of the company and now upholds the position of senior engineer concentrating his focus on service and maintenance. Our engineer has worked for all departments and a true all rounder.
Progressing from an installation engineer, the position has evolved into an estimating and project delivery role in 2022 with over eight years complimentary experience. A technical and professional approach to the job in hand working with all departments to deliver the services we promise.
Being City & Guilds trained our engineer has the experience, qualification and knowledge required to carry out system repairs and system maintenance in line with industry and manufacturer standards.
Having commenced his training with Air Options at the start of 2017 our engineer has grown in experience and now has the knowledge required to carry out all installation types whilst holding a City and Guilds qualification. Air Options and manufacturer trained to install a wide range of systems, from basic split style units through to more complex style packages.
With approaching 20 years experience and being City & Guilds trained our engineer has the experience, qualification and knowledge required to carry out system repairs and system maintenance in line with industry and manufacturer standards.
Bethany has a 'full on' job scheduling works for our engineers, whether this be procurement of materials, or arranging entry to sites and buildings. A structured, discrete and well organised approach to work is essential in keeping our engineers efficient and cost effective in the field. A more technical role than you might think working closely with her admin team.
A well organised approach to work is key to keeping our engineers effective and cost efficient in the field. Working under the supervision and guidance of Bethany the position offers support to all departments and the management team.
Accounts has been instrumental to the success of the company with their conscientious and discrete approach to working with clients, existing or new. In addition to working with clients, they work alongside Julie our financial director to offer HR support to all members of the team. Whether it be staff time sheets, invoicing clients, or paying suppliers they have an important and sometimes difficult job to do.
Julie has been a director of the company since 1995 and oversees all accounting, and HR matters with the rest of her team. Pre 1995 Julie had a mix of experience in accounting for some of the areas most respected firms giving her a solid understanding of what would be required in building and sustaining a successful company for the years to come.
As part of our training and mentoring process, we have a number of junior engineers who have served approximately three years experience in the industry and have progressed from a trainee position to junior engineer, or what we call an improver here at Air Options. This is a pivotal part of their careers where they continue to learn and hone their skills in becoming qualified engineers in years four to five and taking the next steps.
At Air Options we look to employ and mould trainees from start to finish and empower them with knowledge passed down from our senior mentors, and current industry training.
