Air Options were recently appointed to provide air conditioning maintenance at a fast-paced dog grooming salon located in East London. The salon itself utilises two separate split systems, one being Daikin and the other Panasonic.
The largest problem faced by the client was regular water leaks from their air conditioning systems, and owing to the leaking water, the client had been forced to switch off their systems just when they needed them the most. In turn, this resulted in increased temperatures within the salon and given the working environment, this was proving problematic as keeping the busy staff and furry clients comfortable was of paramount importance.
Air Options have now been appointed to attend the salon twice per annum to carryout routine maintenance in line with system manufacturer’s guidelines for both the Daikin and Panasonic split systems. Given the nature of the business, the systems were getting very clogged with dog hair, dander, grease and soaps. To ease this issue Air Options’ in-house administration team worked with the owner of the salon to create a bespoke maintenance programme, factoring in deep cleans of each internal unit, at each visit.
By having a combination of a regular maintenance supplemented with regular deep cleans, the salon has noticed a decreased amount of call outs for water leaks resulting in considerably improved performance and system uptime. This has not only reduced the spend for the grooming salon owner but has also resulted in a comfortable working environment for staff and pets with improved airflow, consistent temperatures, maximum uptime and improved energy efficiency.
