At Air Options we are the proud providers of preventative air conditioning maintenance at an architecturally stunning and historically significant building on Baker Street, London.
Steeped in history, this iconic landmark is famously associated with Sherlock Holmes’ “official” residence and formerly housed the headquarters of Abbey National.
The property, which has since been divided into 80 student flats, is equipped with over 260 Panasonic ducted units which are connected to multiple Panasonic condensers.
At point of first contact, our client approached us to provide planned preventative air conditioning maintenance of all assets within the building, and were able to provide a complete asset list, which enabled our in-house maintenance team to develop an accurate and efficient quotation.
To complete the task, we proposed two fully qualified engineers over a period of 10 working days, operating within normal working hours.
Thanks to our detailed planning and clear communication with the building management team, we were able to coordinate access to each of the ducted units located within the 80 student flats. Maintenance was carried out in full compliance with manufacturer guidelines, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of the systems.
Accessing the 16 Panasonic condensers posed no issues, as they were conveniently located across two basement levels within acoustic enclosures. This allowed our team to efficiently complete all servicing tasks without disruption to the buildings residents or building operations.
The project was delivered on time, with minimal disruption and full compliance with all manufacturer specifications. Both the student residents and building management team were pleased with the seamless process and high standard of work carried out.
